                                                                      No 70	Ducal Palace. Traceries	94
                                                                      
                                                                      		Having now finished the exam. of the four traceried windows
                                                                      		of the D. Palace, I shall fill up in order what is to be
                                                                      		noted of them.
                                                                      The First - let be that on the side of the palace towards prisons, and
                                                                      		furthest from the sea.  This window now belongs to the Camera
                                                                      		di Studio.
                                                                      	1	The tracery.  No 70 Now Place 41 fig 1 showing intersections of great roll
                                                                      		- most curious.   Do what I would, I could not from its

                                                                      		The jamb section - archivolt sec. and tracery are the same as in
                                                                      		the other side window, or second - only its two half shafts have
                                                                      		the small truncated processes which end the cavattos of their spirals
                                                                      	3	rounded instead of cut short off - [diagram] instead of [diagram]
                                                                      		Its but in the central shaft it is cut off as in the
                                                                      		others.  Its capitals have the leaves turned over back as
