The capital fig 4 No 60 is I think the same: but these No 107, 108 0HOUSE AT CORTE DEL REMER
larger outlines were taken from the correspondent one oppo- all real size of the capital fig 4 No 60. It has an eagle
site - No 1P7 shows the real fig 4. with open wings on its basket and is otherwise very fine
Note the fillet widening towards centre; and at f g the
same smaller: its rude globular division in its central
N.B. of fig 2 of No 60. the number of dentils in both boss: supported by a twisted bracket, rudely cut but
bands were counted in it, and each piece of masonry has its visibly an origin of the late twisted bracket or finial
right number from a to b is one piece, but there as at Young Foscari Compare with the window of this house
ar[t]e more pieces than are drawn below b between the dentils. the valuable No 58 House book 2.
No 107 contains first the two windows of No 60 as and
at side, fig 2. The arches, which sustain the stair
worked in brick with the sections also given.
The upper one is not easily verified, the brick is so worn
No 46. At p 14 Housebook 1 this sheet is shortly referred to
for the central door of 12th house - at page 66 above
the references are given: This door is now a general
type, vid above p 122 x
Foliation. Observe the late date which Selvatico gives the Madonna
dell Orto, and the close correspondence between it and
bits of the Ca de Oro Foliations and sections.
