As there are 27 dentils & as many spaces in the chord along top of door: the dentil & double space below the base of the column gives its size: the Basrelief is on one piece of stone; the two ledges each with four roses on under surface, (two only drawn in fig 2 to show mode of rude junction at top) are clumsily fitted to it - their section is shown on the fissure at a; the capital and shaft being curved by themselves with a back piece set into the brickwork S Stefano No 30.
