                                                                      		applying the paper to it.  These capitals are perhaps the
                                                                      best of the set beginning with the window C. their heads
                                                                      still very barbarous;  but better, and their leafage very
                                                                      good:  the abacus always                  the bases gone
                                                                      the mark of the old tracery clear along the soffit of
                                                                      both windows: which give light to a little room, once
                                                                      the archivio;  now utterly without furniture and white-
                                                                      washed.
                                                                      (I must interrupt myself to note, between Rialto and
                                                                      Fondaco de Turchi for Monday morning:  Pakace with four
		Tracing of this balcony is given in No 95.                          Evangelists - two fine doors;  another door in alley close
                                                                      to it;  another of brick turning to the left;  finally two
                                                                      superb palaces for 2nd and 4th orders in square upon canal
                                                                      of Palazzo  Pesaro, and the first early pure lancet trefoi
                                                                      I have found in Venice as opposite.)
                                                                      		Next to the window i  which now opens into Mr Lorcenzo’s
                                                                      room; comes the centre with balcony;  and this with
                                                                      windows k. l. m. n. is described in No 78
                                                                      - the last note, scralwed on that paper, is of the best
                                                                      discovery I made to-day. Saturday 22nd December - of the
                                                                      window, o in plan on last page, which opens from the small-
                                                                      er saloon behind the Ponta Della
