                                                                      No 62 - 63	Corte del Remer. Police House	82
                                                                      
                                                                      		rudely by a light incision; an interruption which is so small  the
                                                                      		paws being not the 150th part of the [diagram]: that the eye does not
                                                                      		perceive it - it seems purposeless; and yet is delightful.
                                                                      		The points of the various pieces of stone are accurately given in No 60
                                                                      		- the gate arch is horseshoe: but accidentally;  for the inner arch
                                                                      		is only stilted;  and the bits of the cornice have been separately
                                                                      		cut circular, and rudely adjusted, so as to give a slight horseshoe
                                                                      		curve to the bottom  Conf.  p 122.
                                                                      First Order:	Close to the palazzo Bernardo, at the traghetto
                                                                      Police House	d [gap] is the House No 31;  Utterly ravaged
                                                                      		there remains traces only of its eight arches, now filled
                                                                      		with lath & plaster: its main arrangements are on No 62.
                                                                      		One of its capitals, which though somewhat various in cutting
                                                                      		and curve, are alike in design, is drawn real size
                                                                      		on the back of No 63;  Its section, through side;  real
                                                                      		size in two parts - a b - b c No 63. below a the dotted
                                                                      		curve a2 marks the receding curve of flower work:  though
                                                                      		the head of the flowers is generally pretty vertical.  The
                                                                      		two fillets above c are rude cutting, evidently for [diagram]
                                                                      		The hexagon fillet which forms the top of the bell is strange
                                                                      		- and the rude plan of the abacus rude flower work.
                                                                      		[diagram]  The bases of these pillars are built up
                                                                      		d. is an abridgement of the profile, but inaccurate
