The tracery is the same on both sides; and its shaft heads have same section as that of G. but with a magnificent flow of leafage nobly undercut, and heads all fine and well felt - lateral half shafts here also. Lions heads above placed over the cavetto of tracery as at A fig 3 very grand: and the whole thing well done. Fig 3 B. Section of archivolt and cusp of the lateral windows to the left - east of great arcade: of the sixth arch: but I have never yet seen so shallow a dentil [diagram] instead of [diagram]. Compare this with the deep dentil of Ca’ d’oro. [diagram] Pil heads Kp leafage as centre, less firmly cut - and thus in one story, there are three different kinds of workmanship - centre best - this next - and G. of fig 1 worst.
